Soooo I don’t know if all the expos are run like this one but if they are... run, don’t walk to get to one.
It was incredible. Soooo many vendors, everyone was super friendly and helpful. There is no words to describe how amazing it was to be somewhere where you could eat everything, I mean EVERYTHING!!! There was even a food truck with gluten free funnel cake, corn dogs and fried Oreos. The only sad part... they sold out before we could get there.
Not surprising based on the crowd that was there. But everything moved well and again everyone was so nice so standing in lined left to many good conversations. As you can see it was quite the busy place. I love that they have table and chairs in the middle so you can enjoy the food you sample and/or buy.
And we did NOT go hungry. In fact, we definitely over ate but it was all soooo good. I mean truthfully, all good. The only less that amazing item was some pizza and bread at one of the booths. They still need some more work to get up to 2018 and compete with other pizza and bread I have had both outside the expo and inside it. But it was still better than 18 years ago when I started this journey.
I really want to write up as much as I can but no one will read a 10 page post. So this post will be my number one item I loved and will go and seek out to buy before all others. Mind you we had AMAZING bake goods but I have to stop eating so much sugar and treats. Soooo I will be on the look out for...
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Best bread in 18 years. From Ireland, medium hard outside and ohhhh sooo soft inside. Incredible flavor, even for the rustic white, which was my favorite (so much so that I asked for the last one on display and they gave it to me at the end of the day. We purchased the Seeds and Fruit and they gave us a free breakfast muffin pack.
Promise Bread is heads and shoulders above sooo many bread I eat and have eaten. We even just ate the rest of the rustic white that was on display a week later and it was identical in taste and consistency as the week before when it was fresh. It does not fall apart and seriously it was the best tasting bread I have had in 18 years, maybe my life.
It is supposedly available at Shop Rite in our area but they requested that we ask other stores to carry them. You better believe I will be asking everywhere I shop to try them out and if that doesn’t work ... runs off the internet to locate the closest Shop Rite.
And if you read this and think, wow this was number one please note this was not that easy of a choice. There were so many amazing items but finding a good bread, that is slightly better for you than other, well that has been difficult lately. So I really will go find this before I go and find the baked good items... although there was another bread item that almost beat this out but that one you might not make sandwiches on, so I chose this one for it’s versatility.
If you were at the expo, let me know your number one item that you had there.
Be on the look out for more follow ups on this expo.
