We started with a delicious salad then had salmon that was to die for and finished with mango sorbet with fresh strawberries and gluten free cookies.
The salad was crisp and they had fore roasted tomatoes that I didn’t even know I liked but they were delicious.
The salmon was incredible. Tender, tasty, warm and the sauce was perfection.
The veggies were crunchy and oh so good.
I can’t believe how well we ate on this trip. We were very lucky that all but one place has gluten free options and they were incredible options. The servers sometimes needed a bit more information on the foods they were serving but it worked out every time.
I highly recommend a trip to Iceland and know that you don’t have to worry about eating gluten free there. Just be vigilant and in the words of our guide “If it looks gluten free, it is.” Iceland food is pretty straight forward but if you have questions ask. Enjoy!
